Run pagespeed.web.dev on your homepage. Use the mobile LCP score, not desktop.

My images are compressed and properly sized

Hero photos under 200KB, product/team photos under 100KB. Right-click → Inspect → Network tab to check.

No layout shifts after the page first paints

Open the homepage. Watch as it loads. Does anything jump or shift after first appearing? If yes, that is CLS damage.

Every page has a unique title and meta description

View source on each page. Each <title> and <meta name="description"> should differ from the others, not "Home | Business" everywhere.

Sitemap.xml exists and is submitted to Google Search Console

Type yoursite.com/sitemap.xml in a browser. Then check that Google Search Console shows it under Sitemaps as "success."

Has structured data (schema markup) on key pages

Run search.google.com/test/rich-results on your homepage. If it shows valid schema (LocalBusiness, FAQ, Service, Organization), tick yes.

Conversion (3)

Every page has a clear primary call-to-action above the fold

No "what should I do here?" moment. The CTA is a button, named with a specific verb (not "Submit" or "Learn more"), and visible without scrolling.

My contact form sends test submissions reliably

Sent a real test submission in the last 30 days, watched it arrive in your inbox. Does NOT count if "I assume it works."

Real testimonials with names + faces, not anonymous "Sarah M."

If you have testimonials, they have full names, real photos, and a specific result. Anonymous testimonials read as fabricated and tank trust.

Text contrast passes WCAG AA on body copy

Run webaim.org/resources/contrastchecker on your background + body text colors. Should pass AA Normal Text (4.5:1).

Every image has a real alt-text description

Right-click any image → Inspect. Alt should describe what the image shows ("Maya Chen, lead trauma therapist"), not "image" or empty.

Ownership (1)

I can log into my domain registrar + see my site in MY name
